The essence of luxury is evident in the cabins aboard the Celebrity Equinox. You have four categories of staterooms to choose from when you book a cruise on this ship and within each of these you have choices depending on your taste and budget for the cruise.
The Penthouse suite measures a spacious 1291 square feet with floor to ceiling windows. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed, a living room and separate dining room area. In the living room there is a baby grand piano and the couch converts to a queen size bed to accommodate more than two people in the suite. With wireless Internet access and surround sound, you have all the comforts of home. ![]() The other line up of suites is smaller, but no less grand. The Royal Suite measures 590 square feet and has a queen size bed in the master bedroom. The sofa sleeper converts to a queen size bed as well and there are separate living and dining rooms. The bathroom, like that of the Penthouse suite is very large with a closed off area that serves as a powder room. The Celebrity Suite measures about 395 square feet, but still provides guests with luxurious living at sea. The Sky Suite is the smallest of the suites at 300 square feet and there are no separate rooms. Along with a queen size bed, the sofa converts to a sleeper. The bathrooms in both the Celebrity and Sky Suites contain a shower/tub combination with a vanity sink and mirror. The Verandah staterooms measure 194 square feet. There are five categories to choose from, one of which is a family suite and is the only one divided into separate bedrooms. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto a verandah where you can sit and watch the world go by with a privacy partition between the adjoining balconies. There is a 32 inch LCD TV in each of these rooms and wireless Internet access is available for a nominal fee. Cabins with a view of the ocean and no balcony have large windows through which you have a spectacular view. They measure 177 square feet and contain two beds that can easily be converted to one queen size bed. In addition there is a sitting room area with a sofa. The bathrooms contain a shower stall and vanity. There is very little difference between the inside cabins and those with an ocean view in terms of size and space. Two beds can convert to a larger size and there is a table and two chairs for times when you want to dine in your room as well as a sitting area with a sofa. Some of these rooms may contain a trundle bed so that you have extra sleeping space. |
